SDS operates a variety of community- based opportunities that support individuals in pursuing their interests, developing skills, building relationships, and participating fully in community life. Guided by each person's Individual Support Plan (ISP), supports focus on personal growth, community involvement, recreation, volunteerisms, lifelong learning, health and wellness, and the achievement of meaningful personal outcomes.
Through person-directed planning, individuals are encouraged to explore opportunities that reflect their strenghts, interests, and aspirations while developing valued social roles and community connections. SDS also offers bilingual and specialized supports for individuals with complex support needs.

Sudbury Developmental Services proudly operates Work Integrated Social Enterprises (W.I.S.E.) that provide meaningful skill development, employment readiness, and paid work opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. These enterprises allow participants to develop workplace skills, gain practical experience, build confidence, and contribute to their communities while earning income in supportive work environments.
JARRETT WISE THRIFT SHOPPE
The Jarrett WISE Thrift Shoppe is a Work Integrated Social Enterprise that recycles community donations in a processing and retail setting. The proceeds assist us in offering training and employment opportunities for the developmentally disabled.

Individuals gain hands-on experience in retail operations, customer service, inventory management, merchandising, and workplace safety while contributing to a community-focused social enterprise.

The Jarrett Choices Hub - Webbwood specializes in the production of custom pallets, crates, and wood products for local businesses and industry partners. Participants develop woodworking, manufacturing, quality control, and teamwork skills while working in a structured and supportive environment. The operation is licensed for export shipping and is recognized for delivering quality products and responsive customer service.
