Sudbury Developmental Services is a designated bilingual community-based agency that assists individuals with developmental disabilities as they pursue their maximum potential. The individuals come first. Their needs will be met with respect, compassion and with accountability. Our service provision consists of Respite Care, Residential Services, Life Skills/Vocational Day Services, Community Supported Employment and Training and Passport Funded Supports and Services. 

Like so many other non-profit organizations, we are in need of adequate funds to provide these supports needed to attain the goals of the Clients and the Agency. 

You can help by purchasing an Agency membership card for the modest sum of $15 per family or $10 for a single membership. This membership entitles you to be involved, to receive SDS/SHDS Annual Report and to vote at the Annual General Meeting. The monies raised from the sale of memberships can, for example, be used to fund special activities for our clients, enhance existing programs or purchase much needed equipment and mobility aids.
